Building Resilience in your Children

Building Resilience in your Children – A free event hosted by Moriac Primary School – Tuesday 24th November, 7.30pm—9pm

Do you think your children are more anxious nowadays? Do you think they can’t seem to cope with disappointment? Are they easily frustrated and angry and take it out on YOU? Do you worry that they don’t seem to have any resilience? They can’t solve their own problems? They BLAME YOU for everything that goes wrong? Want to know why and what you can do about it?

Gary Banks is a very experienced parent educator, clinical family therapist and family counsellor and most importantly…parent!

He would love the chance to talk to you about how you can build resilience in your children so that you spend more time enjoying them!

It was wonderful to see so many of the students dressing up for cup day. Some did exceptional jobs!

The winners received a $20 gift voucher from Cotton On.

The money raised from the gold coin donations will go towards equipment for the sports shed. Thank you to all those who donated.

Attached are photos of the finalists – there will be more photos to come.

1/2 Excursion reminder

Just a reminder to all 1/2 parents that students must be at school by 8.15 am in order for the bus to leave on time for the excursion. Students who normally catch the bus to school will have to make alternative arrangements tomorrow. Unfortunately the bus will not be able to wait so if your child arrives later than 8.15 am they will work in the Prep room for the day. The bus will return at 3.45 pm so once again bus travellers will need to make alternative arrangements after school. Before and after school care is available.
